With over 30 years of music performance experience and more than 23 years in the professional music industry performing for luxury weddings, corporate galas, and private events, Jasmine is an artist who brings exceptional skill, soul, and sophistication to every performance.

Hailing from Ontario and now proudly based in Calgary, Alberta (YYC), she is a classically trained cellist, widely recognized for her versatility as both an acoustic and electric cellist. Whether performing as a soloist or within an ensemble, her artistry resonates across genres and borders.

Her academic background is as impressive as her performance résumé. She holds numerous degrees, including a Bachelor of Music Performance from McGill University, a Master’s in Music Performance from the University of Calgary, an Artist Performance Program Diploma from Mount Royal University, and a Bachelor of Education specializing in music and French as a Second Language—a testament to her deep knowledge of both musical and linguistic pedagogy.

From intimate weddings to international stages, Jasmine has toured nationally and internationally, celebrated for her musical agility and on-the-spot improvisational brilliance. Her performance history includes collaborations with prestigious ensembles such as the World Korean Ensemble, Electronic Symphonia (Canada’s first electronic symphony), the National Youth Orchestra, Windsor Symphony, L’Orchestre de la Francophonie, and the London Orchestra, to name a few. She has also shared the stage with acclaimed artists including Ne-Yo, Akon, Il Divo, Disturbed, Michael Bublé, and Richard Clayderman.

Beyond the stage, Jasmine is a respected leader within Canada’s music community. She previously served as Tour Manager for the prestigious Canadian National Competition and served as the Alberta Program Coordinator for the Pathways Program. As the founder of Played With Love Inc., she curates bespoke musical experiences for luxury events across the country. She is also regularly invited to adjudicate music festivals, including the Chinook Music Festival, Alberta School of Music Festival, and other competitive music events, where she mentors and inspires the next generation of musicians.

A dedicated educator, Jasmine maintains a thriving private studio, teaching cello, violin, piano, music theory, and music history through both in-person and online lessons, helping students of all ages and abilities discover confidence, artistry, and joy through music.
